What is Easter?

Easter Sunday is a glorious day for the Christian.  It is the celebration of the resurrection or triumphant victory over death of Jesus Christ.  Jesus arose from the grave three days after his death on the cross.  By his death, burial and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for all sin allowing those who believe in Him to receive eternal life.
